Sociology Specialist ( #12704 )
This is an opportunity to work with an international multi-disciplinary consultancy group to study how the construction of civil infrastructure projects affect the local populations of Southeast Asia.
You will also help to drive forward services to both internal and external clients and help develop new business for the team.
You will be office based; however, there will be a requirement to undertake site surveys/assessment and attend client meetings within the Southeast Asia region.
Location: Southeast Asia (city TBA)
• Degree in sociology, life science or relevant subjects (postgraduate qualifications will be a plus)
• Ability to understand how projects may impact sociology
• Ideally, familiarity with international lending safeguard requirements, such as Equator Principles (EP), International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards and Asian Development Bank (ADB) Safeguard Policy Statements
• Experience in delivering social impact studies
