We have an exciting opportunity for a Signal Maintenance Manager to work in Perth, Western Australia. This role requires an immediate start.

Duties include:

  • incident management: response, investigation, repair
  • system safety and reliability

Job Title: Rolling Stock Engineer ( #8481 )

Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a young Rolling Stock Engineer to work as part of a consortium group in Macau. T his is a permanent position and the incumbent will work on design and tendering activities and be responsible for monitoring construction, installation and test stages along with preparing operations and maintenance.

Reporting directly to the Rolling Stock and System Contract Manager, you will:
  • during the design phase, check and audit design documents and drawings as provided by the Rolling Stock and System Contractor
  • during the manufacturing phase, monitor works and factory and site inspections and report to the Rolling Stock and System Contract Manager to ensure compliance with quality, cost and time requirements
  • contribute to the test and commissioning process
  • contribute to the handover of future operations and maintenance entities
  • attend technical meetings with the client and/or contractors when required
  • follow up and check interfaces between rolling stock and other systems.
  • Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • five (5) years of experience in the design and manufacturing of rolling stock (heavy or urban rail)
  • full command of written and spoken English is essential. Cantonese would be advantageous; and
  • preference for candidates with Macau Permanent Residency although client will consider providing visas for suitable candidates.

Job Title: Risk Management Consultants ( #8532 )

Job Description:
Our client is an international organisation and they are seeking a RAMS Consultant to work in their Hong Kong office. Suitable applicants must have proven experience in the Asian region and be able to support the delivery of risk management and systems assurance solutions. Primary responsibility will also be to undertake risk reviews and workshops and advise clients on risk management principles and solutions to improve system safety and reliability.

Other duties include but not limited to:
  • conduct risk review meetings and facilitate risk workshops
  • conduct risk assessment, review method statement and coordinate the outputs on the risk register
  • undertake system assurance activities and operational incident reviews; and
  • provide some training and coaching to the service delivery teams and clients when required.
  • recognised Degree in Engineering
  • member of relevant professional association
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience as risk management consultant in the rail industry
  • minimum 5 years in the consulting industry
  • strong command of English both written and verbal
  • excellent communication skills and team membership skills
  • successful track record in risk management solutions in CAPEX and/or operational environments
  • open to some travel in the Asian region; and
  • Preference will be given to candidates who display international experience and sound knowledge in identifying hazard techniques ie. RCM, FMECA, single point of failure and other reliability methodologies.
