Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Design Manager - Rolling Stock to support their projects in Hong Kong.

Based in Auckland you would be working for a well known and respected public transport operator providing RAMS support for new rolling stock being brought in from Spain.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assist in the setting of RAM targets and apportion to Systems and Sub-Systems
  • Under the guidance of the RAMS Manager, assist in:
    - performing safety and RAM reviews;
    - performing failure identification, the assessment of failure consequences in terms of system performance, and the application of RAM improvement measures;
    - completing hazard identification and analysis, such as PHA, IHA, SSHA, OSHA and HAZOPS processes;
    - completion of Failure, Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis to assess system RAM performance; and
    - carrying out risk analysis, Quantified Risk Assessment, Cost Benefit Analysis and application of the ALARP principle.
  • Management of the generation and use of Reliability Critical Item Lists.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Science, Engineering or related degree
  • At least 4 years experience in the application of RAMS plans
  • Experience in performing RAM assessment and modelling or a railway network and systems components.

Job Description:
Our client, a global engineering consultancy company in Transportation is seeking a Quality and Systems Implementation Manager, Hong Kong.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead the system implementation team to roll out the ISO9001/ISO14001/OHSAS18001 Management systems in the China Region including Hong Kong and Macau
  • Work with business line managers and Divisional Quality Coordinators in the China Region to ensure proper roll out and implementation of various Company business and project operations systems
  • Plan and prepare quality and project financial operations audits’ schedule and carry out internal checks to verify the effectiveness of the company systems
  • Manage the Internal Quality Auditor, Systems Implementation and Project Compliance teams and monitor the closing out of corrective actions
  • Lead and manage the quality system documents, such as quality manual, quality procedures and project quality plan.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in engineering, quality, business administration or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, qualified internal auditor preferred
  • Knowledge on ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 will be advantageous
  • Strong analytical, program development and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in Putonghua is essential.

Job Title: Maintenance Manager ( #9422 )

Job Description:
This international organisation is seeking key personnel for a project with a minimum secondment of six months.

They are looking for a Maintenance Manager to be based in India. Candidates must be familiar and responsible for all aspects of asset maintenance management.

Duties include:
  • Responsible for the management of the maintenance of trains and each component within the rail system
  • Lead the planning works during the pre-operation and other phases
  • Management the mobilisation, technical training and deployment of the maintenance team
  • Build and develop the engineering and maintenance function including hiring of maintenance managers, engineers and technicians.
  • Assume the overall responsibility of the infrastructure, trains and other assets
  • Lead the configuration of the systems and the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance
  • Monitor the performance of contractors
  • Update the O&M procedures and instructions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, alternatively Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years within the rail sector
  • Experience in mass rapid/ urban transport systems.
